Smooth, well-adhering surfaces such as melamine, laminate, MDF, lacquered wood, glass and metal work beautifully. Curves and shapes are no problem; what matters is a clean, stable substrate.

What is BuildWise?

BuildWise is our outdoor studio, sister to WrapWise and equally part of the company. We design and build bespoke outdoor kitchens and garden furniture in Tenerife using cellular concrete, finished with premium microcement (mortex) or tiles. Kitchen cabinets can be integrated if desired.

Is microcement (mortex) weatherproof?

Yes. We use premium microcement with a full sealer system — waterproof, UV-stable and made for the island climate. It ages beautifully with minimal maintenance.

Absolutely. BuildWise outdoor kitchens can include a sink, gas or induction hob, fridge and integrated cabinets — designed around your terrace and how you love to cook.

Tiles or microcement — which should I choose?

Microcement gives a seamless, monolithic look; tiles bring colour, pattern and a more traditional feel. We often combine both. During the visit we bring samples so you can see and feel the options.
